Monochrome Styled // Rooftop Couples Session

I decided to break out of my comfort zone and photograph in a place and time of light that I normally don’t shoot in… and WOW how it truly stretched my creativity! Getting to learn from the incredibly talented and electric personality Morgan Olsen (who also styled this photoshoot for us during the Evolve Conference) was such an enlightening experience! Myself and a handful of other creatives met up in Chinatown, San Francisco and climbed up to a rooftop overlooking the majestic city. Even though the city was buzzing all around us, Morgan led us through the simple mindset change of creating a quiet space for the couples we photograph. This way, they may be able to experience unique ways of expressing their affection, involving fun movement and funky angles. The results were gorgeous eye-catching photos that creatively portrays the connection of their heart and personality as a couple.

Because let’s be real. Traditional posing gets old. Why not break out of the box?
